Weekend Wonders

Well, this morning Mick had to go to Castle Hill for some reptile meeting thingy, so I had to take the kids to Athletics on my own. Luckily they had a fairly easy program today, and I mostly stayed with Charlie, but kept Harry in sight at all times. They both went really well, and we were home by 10am.

Grandma came home from her big overseas trip on Monday morning, and after a couple of days acclimatising, and getting over her jet lag, we have heard some wonderful stories, and are currently getting to see some of her great photos. I have picked out just a couple of ones from the last part of her trip.

These photos are from Germany. Joe, Monika, Emily and Lara took Grandma to a lovely town called Unterjoch, on the border of Austria, and south west of Munich. Because it is Autumn in Germany, the trees are starting to change colour, so there are reds, yellows, oranges and browns in amongst the greens. The area is absolutely beautiful farming land, and the hikes they went on sounded and looked so wonderful.

Here is Joe (Mick's brother) and Emily, who is 6 weeks older than Matilda

This is Lara who turned 1 year old while Grandma was visiting. She is riding in a custom Ergo

A couple of days into the trip it snowed overnight, and this is what the fabulous scenery looked like then.

How gorgeous is that?

This is a traditional German meal, at Munich, White sausage.....yuck!

Will post more pics soon.
