Weekend Wonders

Well, I woke up on Saturday morning all ready to bounce out of bed for athletics, and what do I hear.......pittapattapittapatta.......yeah, so I lie back down and go back to sleep. Of course, that lasts a whole 10 minutes before the kids are jumping on me. Oh well, it was good while it lasted.

So, we spent the day inside, doing....not much really! Granddad and Marie came for a visit at lunch time, and the kids had fun playing with them. That evening, Mick went to a BBQ, and the kids and I watched Ice-Age 2 on the TV. Turns out that Harry really liked the movie, even though he refused to watch the first movie for years, because he said he didn't like it. Actually it is funny the movies he has claimed not to like, The Lion King, Happy Feet, Aladdin, and The Wild. He just refuses to watch them, and then accidentally sees it, and all of a sudden, he is loving it.

On Sunday, we all cleaned up the yard and house in preparation for Grandma's return.

So all in all a pretty boring weekend.
