Charlie the Monkey

On Tuesday, Charlie's class KP, had their musical item at the Aussie of the Month Assembly. They sang a wonderful song about being a monkey, and Charlie was the star of the show. He was the monkey with a great mask, and a bongo drum. At the end of the song, because he had been drumming so enthusiastically, the drum fell off the stage and landed in Mr Peattie's lap. Everyone thought it was wonderful. Matilda played up the whole time, and because the assembly went for well over an hour, I ended up having to leave early because she just wouldn't be quiet.
