K-2 Sports Day

Thursday was the K-2 Sports Day at the boys school. Harry was in the Green Tree Frogs team, and Charlie was in the Red Kangaroo team.

The day started with 50m and 100m races in year and sex groups. Harry did OK in his races, and Charlie won his 50m race. He was so funny because when he got to the end of the race he ducked under the tape instead of running through it.

Next were the novelty events, where both Harry and Charlie did well. Harry won the Egg and Spoon race. He was very steady and fast.

Next was lunch time, and after a quick trip home to change Matilda and grab some shorts, it was time for the Star Relay. Harry's team did really well, but Charlie's team won the Kindergarten relay.



In the end, the Red Kangaroos won the day, and Harry's team came equal second. Matilda enjoyed herself heaps, and spent most of the day playing in the bushes with some boys her age. She also ran in the preschool race, and did quite well.
