Regatta centre
This weekend we went to the Regatta centre at Penrith. The Olympic Games rowing and kayaking were held here in during the 2000 Games. It has a really great bike riding track and a walking track as well. We took Harry, Charlie and Matilda's bikes and some lunch and stayed for a couple of hours.
The kids rode their bikes for about 30 minutes and then had some lunch. While we were there we saw some skydivers. I didn't realise there was a sky diving school in the grounds. I really want to do that some time. The kids watched the tandem divers land, it was really cool.
Mick then challenged me to a game of handball. Unfortunately we only had a kids blow up ball, but it was fun anyway.
Before we left we drove around to the stand where the podium stands for the Medal Ceremonies. The kids each had a go at getting the gold, silver and bronze medals. They were so cute.
